- The VR One app and the free tools cost nothing. Pro tools need an active VR One Pro licence.
- A Pro licence is for one person on one PC at a time. Don't share it, resell it or try to get around it.
- You're responsible for having the rights to anything you download or use with our tools — including clips from YouTube, Google Images and Pixabay.
- The software is provided as it is. We fix problems as fast as we can, but we can't promise it will never fail.

01Who this agreement is between
This End User Licence Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and VR Studios, run by Viraj Harshana in Sri Lanka (“VR Studios”, “we”, “us”). “You” means the person who installs or uses the Software. If you use the Software for a business, you also accept this Agreement on behalf of that business.
02Accepting this agreement
By downloading, installing, signing in to or using the Software, you agree to this Agreement. If you don't agree, don't install or use the Software, and uninstall it if you already have.
03What's covered
“Software” means:
- the VR One desktop app for Windows;
- every tool installed, opened or unlocked through VR One — including VR Video Converter, VR Video Selector, the VR Premiere Pro Extension, Creative Captions Pro, VR Subtitle Studio and VR Wedding Title Studio — and any tools we add later;
- their updates, presets, templates, fonts and documentation, and the online services they connect to.
Each tool is either Free or Pro, as shown in VR One. Some tools are web apps that open in your browser; this Agreement covers them too.
04Your licence
As long as you follow this Agreement, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software for your own editing work, personal or commercial.
- Free tools: you may use them on any PC you own or control, with a VR One account.
- Pro tools: you may use them only while you have an active VR One Pro licence, on the one PC that licence is activated on (see section 5).
The Software is licensed, not sold. You get only the rights this Agreement gives you.
05VR One Pro
- Price and payment. VR One Pro is a monthly subscription at the price shown in VR One and on our website. You pay by bank transfer and send the payment slip to us on WhatsApp. Pro is switched on for your Google account once we've confirmed your payment.
- Renewal. Your licence lasts for the period you paid for. It doesn't renew by itself — to keep using Pro tools, renew before it ends.
- When it ends. When your licence expires, Pro tools stop working on your PC. VR One checks your licence regularly, so this can happen while you're using the app. Free tools keep working. Your own project files and exports stay yours.
- One PC at a time. A Pro licence is linked to one person and one PC. To move it to a new PC, free the old one in VR One or ask us.
- Refunds. Payments are not refundable, except where Sri Lankan law requires a refund, or where a Pro tool doesn't work on your PC and we can't fix it — in that case contact us within 7 days of paying.
- Price changes. We may change the price of Pro. A new price applies from your next renewal, never to a period you've already paid for.
- New and changed tools. Pro includes the Pro tools available at the time. We add, improve, replace or retire tools over time; we'll try to give notice before a Pro tool is retired.
06Your account
You sign in to VR One with your Google account. Keep that account secure — anything done through it is treated as done by you. Tell us quickly if you think someone else is using your account or licence.
07What you may not do
You may not, and may not help anyone else to:
- share, sell, rent, lend or transfer your licence or account, or let someone else use your Pro licence;
- bypass, disable or tamper with sign-in, licence checks or device limits, or use the Software with a fake or altered licence;
- copy, modify, translate, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the Software, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
- redistribute the Software, its installers, presets, templates or fonts, or bundle them with other products;
- remove or change any copyright, trademark or licence notice;
- use the Software to break the law, or to infringe anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights;
- overload, scrape or attack our servers, or use automated means to access them other than through the Software itself.
08Content you find or download
Some tools, such as the VR Premiere Pro Extension, let you search and bring in content from third-party sources like YouTube, Google Images and Pixabay. We don't own or license that content, and using our tools to get it doesn't give you any right to use it.
- You alone are responsible for making sure you have permission to download and use any content — for example, it's your own, its owner has given you permission, or its licence allows your use.
- You must follow the terms of each source (for example YouTube's Terms of Service and Pixabay's Content License).
- We're not responsible for third-party content, its accuracy, its availability or any claim that arises from how you use it.
Your own footage, projects and exports belong to you. We don't claim any rights in them.
09Third-party software and services
The Software works with products we don't make — such as Windows, Microsoft Edge WebView2, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, FFmpeg, Google sign-in and WhatsApp. Your use of those is governed by their own terms. Parts of the Software include open-source components, which are licensed under their own licences; nothing in this Agreement limits your rights under those licences.
Adobe, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, YouTube, Google, Pixabay, WhatsApp, Sony, Windows and other names are trademarks of their owners. VR Studios is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
10Updates and changes
VR One updates itself and the tools you've installed, so you have the latest fixes and features. Some updates may be required to keep using the Software or the online services. You can roll a tool back to an earlier version in VR One where we offer that, but older versions may stop being available or supported.
11Privacy
To run your account and licence, we store your name, email address and profile picture from Google, a hashed ID for each PC you activate, and a log of sign-ins, activations and downloads. Read our Privacy notice for details. We don't sell your data.
12Ownership
VR Studios and its licensors own the Software and all rights in it, including its code, design, names and logos. Everything not expressly licensed to you in this Agreement is reserved. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
13No warranty
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
In plain words: we work hard to make the tools reliable and fix problems quickly, but we can't guarantee they'll always work, work with every version of other software, or never lose or damage files. Keep backups of your footage and projects.
14Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, VR Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, files, footage, profits, clients or business, arising from the Software or this Agreement. Our total liability for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us for VR One Pro in the three months before the claim.
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that can't be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.
15Ending this agreement
You can end this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the Software. We may suspend or end your licence or account if you break this Agreement — for example by sharing or bypassing a licence — and no refund is due in that case. When this Agreement ends, you must stop using the Software. Sections 7, 8, 12, 13, 14 and 17 continue to apply after it ends.
16Changes to this agreement
We may update this Agreement, for example when we add tools or change how Pro works. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and for significant changes we'll also tell you in VR One. If you keep using the Software after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Agreement.
17Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Sri Lanka, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. If any part of this Agreement can't be enforced, the rest still applies. This Agreement, together with our Privacy notice, is the whole agreement between you and us about the Software.
